KDKA Fires Meteorologist Jeff Verszyla
PITTSBURGH, PA - After nearly a quarter of a century forecasting the weather on KDKA-TV, meteorologist Jeff Verszyla was let go by the station on Friday.
"I'm upset I was not given the opportunity to properly say goodbye on my broadcast," Verszyla tweeted after announcing his dismissal on social media. "But please know I appreciate all of you."
Verszyla's page on KDKA's website has been taken down.
